Ducati Hyperstrada 939 Bookings Open
Book the new Hyperstrada 939 in India for Rs 2 lakh
Ducati is soon launching the Hyperstrada 939 in India and the dealers have already started taking the bookings for a token amount of Rs 2 lakh. When launched, the Hyperstrada 939 will be priced at around Rs 12 lakh. The company hasn’t confirmed the official launch date yet but the dealers are giving a delivery date of September 2016.
The Ducati Hyperstrada is a versatile motorcycle that seems to be a hybrid between the supermoto and adventure motorcycle. Like the Hypermotard, the Hyperstrada 939 is powered by a 937cc, Testastretta 11°, L-twin engine with DVT (Desmodromic Variable Timing). The motor makes 113PS at 9,000rpm and delivers a peak torque of 97.9Nm at 7,500rpm. The engine comes mated to a six-speed gearbox and a slipper clutch.
Ducati Hyperstrada 939 is based on a trellis frame and gets 41mm upside-down forks at the front and a fully adjustable monoshock for the rear. Stopping power comes from dual 320mm disc brake at the front and a 245mm disc brake on the rear.
As with all the modern Ducatis, the Hyperstrada 939 comes with multiple riding aids including, ABS, traction control, and ride-by-wire throttle. The rumour is that Ducati might also launch the XDiavel along with the Hyperstrada in India. So, our fingers are crossed right now.
