Ducati Monster 797+ Launched to Celebrate 25 Years of Monster

Ducati Offers more bang for buck. The entry level Ducati Monster 797 gets a new variant, the Monster 797+. The pricing of the Monster 797+ has been kept same as the regular Monster 797 at Rs 8.03 lakh (ex-showroom, India). But it comes with some extra add-ons, including front flyscreen and pillion seat cowl with color matching rest of the bike. This extra value provided to celebrate 25 years of having Monster in the Ducati line-up. This month, Ducati Monster 821 was also launched with several updates. The Monster 821 costs Rs 9.51 lakh (ex-showroom, India). The deliveries of both the Monsters have begun at all Ducati Showrooms in India.

Regular Ducati Monster 797

Powering this Monster 797+ is a quintessential 803cc L-Twin air-cooled engine that churns out 75 Ps of power at 8,250 rpm and 67 Nm of torque at 5750 rpm. The engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox. Taking of chassis parts, it uses top-notch components like Brembo monoblock disc Brakes at the front and rear, Kayaba 43mm inverted front forks, and Sachs monoshock at the rear with adjustable preload. The frame itself is a trellis type. The ABS comes as a standard fitment. Although is misses out on features like riding modes and traction control that are offered on the bigger 821 Monster.
