Royal Enfield Classic 500 Green Fly to be seen soon!

If you were not already looking forward to the 2017 Madrid Auto show, here is another reason why you should mark the dates 15-18 March on your calendar. The Green Fly, which is based on the Royal Enfield Classic 500, showcases Royal Enfield’s Continental GT’s frame, but also features a host of other changes. It flaunts a revamped fuel tank in green with black graphics, vertically stacked dual lamps in the front and single floating style seat with quilt stitching. The cosmetic changes have been kept minimal, as its style speaks for itself. Beneath its stylish body are also a few things to be noted, including a single monoshock unit towards the left, which has replaced the dual shock absorbers, and modified tubes along with a modified rear section. It also features a single disc unit at the rear, new upside down forks in place of the telescopic units and a petal disc brake up front to power the braking system. The Green Fly gets brand new funky alloy wheels, as opposed to the spoked wheels that the Royal Enfield Classic 500 features. The all-black design of the engine is just another addition to its charm.

On the mechanical side of it, we do not know yet if the engine has undergone a transformation or not. What we do know is that the Standard Royal Enfield Classic 500 runs on a 499 cc single cylinder engine which generates 27.2 bhp and 41.3 Nm torque, this comes with a 5-speed gearbox. For all Royal Enfield enthusiasts, this one is going to set your creative juices into some action!
