The 2017 Suzuki GSX-R1000 is a completely new superbike that is built to rule the currently available crop of superbikes. The highlight of the bike is said to be the Moto-GP derived technology called variable valve timing that makes the engine perform at a vast range of rpms. This technology promises strong midrange along with the top-end punch.

The bike will be kitted with all the latest electronic rider aids like ABS, Traction control, rider modes, bi-directional quick shifter, and launch control. Additionally, these systems are interlinked with each other via six direction/three-axis IMU (Inertia management unit) so that they work seamlessly with each other.

Stopping power on both the GSX-R variants comes from Brembo 4-pot calliper twin-disc setup at the front and a Nissin calliper with a single disc at the rear. What differentiates the GSX-R1000R from the GSX-R1000 is an addition of Showa Balance Free Fork (BFF) and BFF-Lite rear monoshock. Watch the official video-
