Suzuki Launches GSX-S750 Sportbike
Suzuki Unveiled its naked sports bike GSX-S750 at the 2018 Auto Expo with a promise of launching it soon. It has done just that and officially inducted the Suzuki GSX-S750 into its Indian big bike lineup. The price of the GSX-S750 has been kept at Rs 7.45 lakh (ex-showroom). In spite of changes in the customs duty structure, Suzuki has gone ahead by bringing this motorcycle via CKD (completely knocked down) route. (custom duties structure revised)

Looks
The design of the GSX-S750 is inspired by the Suzuki GSX-S1000, which is a litre class naked sportbike. The headlight of the GSX-S750 is a halogen unit with LED DRL (daytime running light), the body of the bike is muscular and chiselled with some cool graphics. The tail section seems to be lifted straight from its elder sibling with LED tail lights.
Engine & Gearbox
Powering this street fighter is a liquid cooled 750cc, four-cylinder engine that makes 114.2 PS of power at 10,500 rpm and 81 Nm of torque at 9000 rpm. The engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox.
Safety
Suzuki GSX-S750 is equipped with a decent amount of rider aids like three-stage traction control, ABS, and low-rpm assist (self-calibrates throttle at low speed for easy take-off and smooth power delivery). The braking duties are handled by twin 310 mm floating disc brake at the front and 240mm single disc at the rear. For the suspension, it has 41mm KYB USD forks at the front with preload and damping adjustability. At the rear is a KYB monoshock with preload adjustability.
Competition
In the Indian market, Suzuki GSX-S750 has many competitors like Triumph Street Triple S, Yamaha MT-09, Ducati Monster 797, Kawasaki Z900. On paper, all of these bikes are closely matched in terms of specs but GSX-S750 pricing undercuts all of them.
