BMW India Replaces the 320i with more powerful 330i

BMW India is actively focussing its petrol car line-up after several manufacturers were hit by NGT’s diesel ban. Now, the company has decided to replace the petrol 3-series 320i with the more powerful 330i variants. The two 330i variants, Sport Line and M Sport edition will be priced at Rs 42.40 lakh and 44.90 lakh respectively (ex-showroom, Delhi). Powering the 330i is a 2.0-litre, four-cylinder TwinPower Turbo 4-cylinder engine that produces 248 hp of power and 350 Nm of torque. The engine is mated to an automatic 8-speed Steptronic Sport transmission.

BMW 340i

Like the 320i, the 330i remains to be a rear-wheel drive car. The driver can switch between four driving modes- Comfort, ECOPRO, Sport, and Sport plus. The paint scheme offered with the 330i Sport Line are- Alpine White, Black Sapphire, and Mediterranean Blue. While the M Sport variant can be had in Alpine White and Black Sapphire color.

From the outside, the 330i is loaded with gloss-black kidney grille, rain sensing wipers, LED headlights with Daytime Running Lights, heat protection glazing, and LED foglamps. The cabin features dual-zone climate control, multi-function steering wheel, 8.7-inch infotainment unit, and electrically adjustable front seats.

The safety features that comes with the BMW 3 Series 330i are- Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) with Brake Assist, Dynamic Stability Control (DSC) including Dynamic Traction Control (DTC), ISOFIX, three-point seat belts and 6 airbags.
