Dual-Airbags Now Standard Feature On Honda Jazz

Honda has updated the Jazz hatchback to include dual airbags as a standard fitment all across the range. Due to this addition, the prices of both ‘E’ and ‘S’ variants are raised by Rs 12,000. This is an appreciable step from the company and important too because the Indian car customers are getting increasing demanding these days and they do compare the feature list of the Indian-spec cars to their International counterparts. The most striking differences comes up when they glance over the safety features section on the brochure.

There are 12 variants available for the Honda Jazz, and five variants out of these gets affected by this safety update. This update makes the competition between Honda Jazz and Maruti Suzuki Baleno more even because Baleno also comes with ABS and EBD as a standard.

Honda’s other models like Brio, Mobilio, and Amaze comes with at least two variants each that are devoid of airbags or ABS. We are expecting Honda to update the safety levels on these models also. Knowing that government is planning to set a standard for car safety equipment in the country, its only a matter of time when the models that offer poor safety levels won’t be allowed in the market.
