The Lamborghini Urus takes the inspiration from Lamborghini’s first SUV- the LM002. Since SUVs are in great demand these days, sports car manufacturers are dipping their toes in this market. Porsche did it with the Cayenne, Bentley did it with the Bentayga, and Maserati did it with the Levante. Now the Lamborghini Urus will enter this competition. Apart from the companies known for their sports cars, Rolls Royce is also coming out soon with their first ever SUV- the Cullinan (see spied images).

Lamborghini Urus Engine-

Lamborghini Urus is said to be powered by a V8 turbocharged engine making 650 PS of power and 850 Nm of torque. A plug-in hybrid version of this SUV is also expected to come a year later.

Then, Lamborghini teased us with a video that revealed some of the design elements. Especially the headlights and the taillights. The company says that the side mounted triangular air outlet on the Urus is reminiscent of the LM002 SUV. The Urus will also feature hexagonal wheel arches. Don’t forget to watch the Lamborghini Urus live stream at 10:30 pm today.
