Mahindra Marazzo MPV Interiors Teased, Launching Soon
Mahindra recently revealed the name for their upcoming MPV ‘Marazzo’. Since then they have been teasing several bits and pieces of this model. Mahindra on their Facebook page just revealed the interiors of the Mahindra Marazzo.
From the first look at it the dashboard of the MPV looks at par to the competition. It has a two-tone finish to it- Black on the upper part and beige on the lower. It also has silver inlays in the middle for extra premiumness. There is a touchscreen in the middle with Android Auto icon on it. Below the screen are the control buttons for AC. In the second picture, we can see an interestingly colorful instrument cluster. This photo of instrument cluster was actually teased last week. On the left there is a tachometer, on the right is the speedometer, and there is a lcd screen sandwiched between them. The fuel capacity bar is digitally displayed next to the speedometer, while the left bar is for engine temperature readout.
Driving Modes- We can also see ‘Eco’ mode on the instrument cluster. This means that the Mahindra Mazazzo will get switchable driving modes, at least in the top-spec.
The steering appears to have quite a lot of buttons and a total of four toggle switches which we assume are for cruise control speed variation, volume, and music channel selection.
Mahindra Marazzo MPV is engineered through collaboration between Mahindra Research Valley in Chennai and the Mahindra North American Technical Center. Marazzo will be the first passenger car to come out of this joint effort of two Mahindra research wings.
Mahindra said in their tweet that the name ‘Marazzo’ means shark in the Basque language. And the design also inspired to shark. Well, let’s wait for it to be unveiled to check if Mahindra hit their goal.

Mahindra Marazzo will be powered by an all-new 1.5-litre diesel engine that makes around 125 Ps of power and 300 Nm of torque. As seen in the pictures, there will be a six-speed manual gearbox coupled to this engine. Although the possibility of an automatic gearbox can’t be ruled out.
Mahindra has already said that the Marazzo will be offered in 7 and 8 seater configuration. Mahindra has also teased the headliner with roof-mounted ‘surround-cool’ AC vents. Mahindra Marazzo MPV will launch somewhere around Diwali season. The pricing is expected to fall near Rs 10 lakh (ex-showroom). And it’s main competition will be from Maruti Suzuki Ertiga, Tata Hexa, and the Toyota Innova Crysta.
