Maserati Quattroporte GTS Launched in India, Priced at Rs 2.7 Crore
Maserati Quattroporte GTS got launched in the Indian market. The pricing of this four-door sports sedan has been kept at Rs 2.7 crore (ex-showroom). Design
The new Maserati Quattroporte GTS gets an updated front and rear bumper with a more imposing grille. The headlights now LED adaptive that features glare-free beam assist. The GrandLusso variant comes with extra bits like chrome bumper inserts, front aero kit, and side skirts. Additionally, there is 20-inch Mercurio alloy wheels and black brake callipers. The GrandSport Trim is the sportiest of the two and gets air splitters, piano black treatment on side inserts and center spoiler. Other than this, one can get optional carbon package that adds carbon fibre wing mirrors, door handles, B-pillar cover and front bumper.
Powertrain
Powering this sports luxury sedan is a 3.8-litre V8 twin-turbo engine that produces 530PS of power between 6500-6800 rpm and 710 Nm of torque between 2250-3500 rpm. The engine comes mated to an 8-speed ZF automatic gearbox that sends torque to the rear wheels. This setup enables it to hit 100 kph in just 4.7 seconds and reach a top speed of 310 kph.
Interiors
The cabin of the new Maserati Quattroporte GTS has been highly updated as well. The materials including leather and plastics feel more premium and there are new high-tech features. There is an 8.4-ich Maserati Touch Control Plus display unit that sits in the centre. It features Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and has a voice command functionality. The music aficionados should be pleased with the 900 watt, 10-speaker Harman Kardon audio system. If this is less then, 1280 watt, 15-speaker Bower & Wilkin sound system is offered as an option.
Safety
For the passenger safety, there are six airbags, active headrests, Lane Keeping Assist (LKA), Traffic Sign Recognition (TSR), Active Blind Spot Assist (ABSA), and many other systems.
