New Ford EcoSport Launching on 9th November
Ford EcoSport has remained one of the highest selling models for the company ever since it was introduced in 2013. It did receive few minor cosmetic changes last year, however, that has started to look dated as well. Therefore, Ford will be launching the facelifted EcoSport next month (9th November). Looks & Design-
The major design rework has been done at the front of the car. The front fascia gets a much larger, single piece hexagonal grille, the bumpers are body coloured and have a large overhang, headlights are also bigger and sharper. Overall, the new EcoSport looks more muscular and SUV-like. From the other angles, the new EcoSport looks unchanged. Even the spare wheel remains tailgate-mounted.
Interiors-
The interiors of the new EcoSport also get a major makeover. The dashboard of the Ford EcoSport gets a new central design with touchscreen display sticking out. The steering wheel now looks sportier than before and the new instrument cluster adds to the freshness. The new EcoSport will be loaded with features like Apple CarPlay/ Android Auto, Parking sensors with camera, 6-Airbags, Cruise Control, Climate Control, etc.
Engine & Gearbox-
Ford disclosed that the new EcoSport with debut the latest naturally-aspirated, 1.5-litre, three-cylinder petrol engine. This motor makes 123PS of power and 150Nm of torque. Presently, the Ford EcoSport is offered with an award-winning 1.0-litre Ecoboost petrol engine. We aren’t sure if this engine will be offered on the new EcoSport as well. For those who prefer the dirtier fuel, the 1.5-litre diesel engine will be carried over. This one makes 100PS of power and 205 NM of torque.
