VW Polo ALLSTAR edition features magnitude of extra features like updated exterior pack that includes revised headlamps, new fog lights, 15-inch ‘Linas’ alloy wheels, silver metallic paint, and ALLSTAR badging on the B-pillar and door sills. However, the winter package which is offered in the Euro-spec car has been given a miss. And that’s alright because heated windshield washer nozzles, heated seats and headlamp cleaner are not really required in India. Indian-spec however does comes with centre armrest, rear AC vents, and Climatronic AC as a standard fitment.

Mechanically, all remains the same. The car comes with a 1.2-litre petrol engine that makes 75PS of max power and a 1.5-litre diesel unit that produces 90PS of max power. Both the engines are mated to a 5-speed manual transmission. That said, the ALLSTAR edition won’t be offered with the 1.0-litre TSI turbocharged petrol engine and in with the 105PS diesel variant.

The German Manufacturer is expected to launch the updated Vento and Polo earlier next year. Some of the updates will include DRL LED headlamps, LED Taillights, and a new body kit. Don’t be surprised if the refreshed Polo looks like the ALLSTAR edition albeit the ‘ALLSTAR’ badging.
