UM Motorcycles to Showcase Electric Motorcycle at Auto Expo

UM Motorcycles, known for its affordable cruiser motorcycles, will unveil an electric motorcycle at the 2018 Auto Expo. This electric motorcycle was first showcased at the last year’s EICMA Show in Milan.

Telling us what’s in store for us at the Auto Expo, CEO of UM Lohia Two Wheelers, Rajeev Mishra said “We are very excited to be a part of the Auto Expo 2018 and are confident that the visitors will be thrilled by the UM range of Motorcycles showcased at our stand. We will also be unveiling the world’s first electric geared high-speed cruiser and a newly designed 230cc cruiser which will showcase the prowess of UM Motorcycles at the Auto Expo. We are expecting a healthy footfall as we have some great surprises for the visitors which they can only experience at the stand.”

In the list of new showcases will be another UM cruiser that will be powered by a 230cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine tuned to produce 20-22PS of power and 18-20Nm of torque. The engine will utilize a 5-Speed gearbox. The Pricing for this cruiser in the Indian market is expected to be around Rs 1.5 lakhs.

UM Motorcycle current range of motorcycles includes Renegade Commando, Renegade Sport S, Renegade Commando Mojave, and Renegade Duty.
