The 2017-lineup of the Triumph Street Triple was revealed by the company earlier this year. Now, this updated naked superbike is going on sale in India. Triumph dealers in the country have started accepting bookings for the same, and the saying that the Bikes will arrive in the showrooms by the second week of June. The booking amount for the 2017 Street Triple ranges between Rs 1-2 lakh depending upon the dealership.Although the price of the 2017 Triumph Speed Triple S is not announced, it is expected to be around Rs 8.5 lakhs.

In the international markets, the new Street Triple is sold in 3 variants- S, R, and RS. Initially, only the Street Triple S will be offered, and the rest two models will be added subsequently.

2017 Street Triple, more precisely, the Street Triple 765 S is powered by a larger 765cc three-cylinder engine that makes 113PS of power at 11250rpm and 73NM of peak torque at 9100rpm. Triumph has utilised high-quality suspension components like Showa 41mm upside-down forks at the front and Showa mono shock with piggyback reservoir at the rear. Stopping power comes from the 310mm dual disc setup with Nissin callipers up front and a 220mm disc with Brembo single-pot calliper for the rear.
