Honda has launched an updated version of the Activa-i, priced at Rs 47,913 (ex-showroom, Delhi). The Active-i is different than the standards Activa and it offers more playfull graphics and sleeker body. The new Activa-i is BS-IV emission norm compliant and now comes with a dual-tone paint schemes.

Moreover, it also features Always Headlamp On (AHO) to make the rider more visible in the daylight also, thereby increasing the safety. The tail lamp of the scooter is also slightly reshaped. To offer more convenience in a scooter, the Activa-i can also be had with an optional mobile charging socket.

Powering this scooter is a proven 109cc engine which develops 8.1PS of power @ 7000rpm and a peak torque of 8.94Nm @ 5500rpm. At the front there is spring loaded hydraulic type suspension and a single coil spring unit at the rear. The scooter rides on 90/100 – 10 tubeless tyres both and braking power comes from 130mm drum brakes at the front and the rear. Honda Activa-i features signature Combined Braking System (CBS) which applies brakes on both the wheels even when a single lever is pulled. This type of system makes riding safer for new and inexperienced riders.
