How will new drivers learn at Toyota Driving School?
Company’s mission behind this initiative is to have “Safest Cars with Safest Drivers”. Toyota is aiming to have 50 driving schools in the country by 2020. This facility is equipped with driving simulators so that the new driver can learn in a safe and controlled environment. Interestingly, the simulator is based on the cabin of Toyota Etios. This system is said to train the learner about fine control of brake, accelerator, and steering. Moreover, the simulator can also replicate the tricky driving situations like fog, rain, low light, driving uphill, and driving downhill. The students will also be trained to handle basic diagnostics, maintenance and repair of the car. The learner can choose to go through an extensive training program or select a customised package targeting the specific problem. This is interesting- Why ISIS Loves Toyota?
Why is Toyota Doing this?
N Raja explained the vision behind Toyota Driving School and said, “We are delighted to launch our first driving school in the NCR region at Faridabad reiterating our commitment towards road safety. The NCRB (National Crime Records Bureau) report has revealed that an average of 17 people are killed in road accidents each and every hour. And primary reason of road accidents are poor road safety practices. Being the safety leaders in the industry, it is our primary mission to ensure safest cars with safest drivers in the country and to significantly reduce the traffic accidents with our safety initiatives. It’s not “just another driving school” for getting a driving license, but it’s much more of a place that follows a comprehensive approach ensuring that every single student becomes a responsible driver on road and a safety ambassador in creating a safe road for everyone to use.” Go to www.toyotabharat.com/driving-school to know more about it.
