Italian Supercar maker, Ferrari has launched two new supercars that replace the Ferrari FF. The Ferrari GTC4Lusso T has been priced at Rs 4.2 crore while the GTC4Lusso is priced at Rs 5.2 crore (both ex-showroom prices). Being a 4 seater, the GTC4Lusso is quite a unique supercar in the Ferrari lineup. Recently, Lamborghini Huracan Performante was launched in India.
Ferrari GTC4Lusso Looks-
Developing from the design language of the Ferrari FF, the GTC4Lusso retains the ‘shooting brake’ silhouette. The GT4Lusso has been made to look more like an angry supercar with its aggressive stance and sportier body kit. The car looks more hunkered down thanks to the sleeker roofline and wider dimensions (1.1 inches wider than FF). The resculpted doors and fenders now feature functional aero bits. Talking about aero package, at the rear there is new spoiler and underbody diffuser. At the front, the grille size is increased and the headlights are restyled.
Ferrari GTC4Lusso Interiors-
Like all Ferrari’s, the interiors of the car has plenty exquisite Italian leather handstitched by some of the best craftsmen. The passenger side digital rpm and speed display is carried over from the FF. However, at the centre there is a larger 10.3 inch infotainment unit with touch controls. The steering is now slightly smaller, again emphasising on the sportier drive.
Engine difference between GTC4Lusso T and GTC4Lusso-
GTC4Lusso T- It utilises the latest 3.9-litre V8 engine that makes 610PS of power and 760Nm of torque. Mated to this engine is a 7-Speed dual clutch automatic gearbox that has garnered some rave reviews. It can do 0-100 kph in just 3.5 seconds and hit a top speed of 320 kph.
GTC4Lusso- This one packs a 6.3-litre V12 engine that produces 689PS of power and 697Nm torque. It also gets the same 7-Speed dual clutch auto gearbox. For this, 100 kph comes up in just 3.4 seconds from standstill and it promises a top speed of 335 kph.
Although some might say that there is no replacement for a Ferrari, we do have some competition. This Ferrari needs to watch out for Porche Panamera Turbo (Priced at Rs 2 crore, this one looks like a bargain now), Bentley Continental Flying Spur W12 (Rs 4.5 crore), and Aston Martin DB11 (Rs 4.27 crore).
